Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be flexible?
No, of course not! You do not have to be flexible in order to practice yoga. Our studio is equipped with yoga blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets to make the poses accessible to everyone.
What should I wear?
There is no special clothing required. Dress comfortably in clothes you can easily move in (i.e. sweats, t-shirt, leggings, shorts, etc.). Please do not wear shoes in the studio.
Will the teachers do hands-on adjustments?
Hands-on adjustments can help the teacher align the student’s body properly. This, along with verbal cues, help to prevent injury. Though beneficial, hands-on adjustments aren’t mandatory. For the comfort of all of our students, we use permission stones in the studio. A bowl of stones will is adjacent to the yoga room. If you give permission for the instructor to use hands-on adjustments, grab a stone and place it at the top of your mat.
What if I come late?
No one will be allowed to enter class after the door is closed. This is for your safety. The yoga poses build upon one another. By arriving late, your muscles won’t be warm and you may become injured.
Does all levels really mean ALL levels?
Absolutely! The majority of our classes are open to all levels of experience. The instructor will offer variations of the poses and you can choose to take whichever version is right for you.
Can I pre-register for classes?
Yes! We encourage pre-registering online for classes and workshops. Walk-ins are welcome as well. Click here to reserve your space.
