Shake off the winter shivers with Rachel Hoppenstein in the Warm-up Your Heart workshop. This hour and half class will focus on slowly defrosting and building heat from the inside out. We will utilize pranayama (breath-work), therapeutic shoulder movements and gentle heart openers to counter the effect of the common shrugged-shoulder winter posture.

About the Instructor: Rachel Hoppenstein earned her teaching certificate from Kripalu in 2007. Since that time she has taught weekly classes, workshops and co-led the Teacher Training program at Dana Hot Yoga. She particularly enjoys teaching anatomy to help students understand and visualize the underlying structure of their movements. Her teaching is further informed by her studies and work as an Occupational Therapist.
