This perfect combination of Swedish and Deep Tissue is what we’re known for. Integrated work is perfect for those who have specific aches and pains in certain places (like the neck and shoulders!) but aren’t feeling in need of a full out deep tissue massage. Have our therapists perform deeper work on those areas you need it most and spend the rest of your session time relaxing you into a wonderfully calm state of being!

A light to medium pressured massage. This most common western form of massage therapy uses five basic strokes toward the heart that are designed to awaken and energize the body through stimulation of blood-flow.

Benefits include general relaxation, improved range of motion, relief from physical tension, dissolution of scar tissue adhesions, improved circulation which may speed up the healing process and reduce swelling from injury.

As the name implies, this type of massage affects the deeper sub-layer of muscle and fascia. Relieves chronic patterns of tension in the body using long, slow strokes and deep finger pressure. The treatment improves circulation, range of motion, and tension related issues. It also helps with chronic muscle pain, injury rehabilitation, and reduction of inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendonitis.

Prenatal/Pregnancy Massage - .5 hr - $40 | 1hr - $75 | 1.5 hr - $105
Devised specifically for Mothers-to-be, this therapy improves skin's elasticity while relaxing the body and relieving heavy legs. The therapy can also be useful in reducing physical discomfort and improving emotional wellbeing.
*Note: Massage may be unsafe for clients who are in their first trimester (0-13 weeks) of pregnancy. Therefore, Mellow will not be able to accommodate these clients. For those who are at least in the second trimester, the prenatal/pregnancy massage is designed to provide the most comfort. When scheduling over the phone, inform us immediately if you are pregnant to avoid any confusion on the day of your session. Also, please select the prenatal/pregnancy massage when scheduling online.

Relieves stress through an organized system of pressure points on the feet. These focus points correspond or "reflex" to all areas of the body. The massage can be directed toward specific problem areas, however the relaxing results will affect the entire body. This service is offered for the feet only.

Usui Reiki Ryoho is a gentle, natural energy therapy from Japan. It uses universal healing energy to promote health and well being, both physical and spiritual. The practitioner lays hands on or over the body while channeling the energy. Reiki is beneficial on its own and in conjuction with other modalities. Though gentle and non-invasion, Reiki is powerful and assists your body in healing itself. During this therapeutic experience, the client is fully clothed.

Offered as a pre or post-activity massage. This treatment can help prepare the body to function at peak efficiency or help to relax and recover after a strenuous workout. The Sports massage is designed to reduce injury by warming and stretching the muscles to alleviate inflammation. Treatment also allows the body to release the build up of lactic acid in muscles caused by over exertion.

Japanese pressure point treatment using palms, fingers and thumbs to release tension and increase circulation of blood and energy. During this therapeutic experience, the client is fully clothed.

Also known as a form of Yoga Massage Therapy, Thai massage is an ancient Eastern healing art. It integrates deep yoga-like stretching, massage, acupressure, and deliberate breathing exercises. The massage takes place on a "Thai massage mat" placed on the floor, and as in the case of Shiatsu massage, the client is fully clothed.

The application of deep, penetrating heat using heated stones. This treatment brings balance to the mind, body, and soul. It also relieves aches, pains, and muscle spasms while increasing joint flexibility and blood circulation. Stones are placed along meridians and at specific pressure points along the body. The stones are then turned and moved constantly to give a feeling of total relaxation.

Thai Herbal Compress Therapy - 1hr - $95 | 1.5 hr - $130
Straight from traditional Thai medicine, this celebrated therapy incorporates the use of a steamed, herb-filled cotton compress with the more familiar strokes of our Swedish massage.

Our compress is filled with various medicinal herbs formulated from the time-honored recipe of the Wat Po temple in Bangkok. Great for relaxing tight muscles, relieving joint pain and encouraging blood circulation. The intoxicating scent of the herbal mixture along with the warmth of the compress is sure to leave you feeling balanced.

After your session, take your Thai herbal compress home! The compress can be used 3-5 more times after your visit to Mellow! Please store your compress in the refrigerator when not in use.

Recommended at-home uses:
Wet herbal compress and hang it in the shower. Enjoy the aromatic therapeutic effects (helps to open up the sinuses!)
Soak herbal compress in a medium size pot of water for 10 minutes. Next, steam for 10 more minutes. Apply compress to sore muscles to relieve pain and tightness.
Helps to relieve stress and aid relaxation.

* Caution: This herbal compress should not be used on pregnant women, people with high blood pressure, and those who are sensitive to extreme heat.

Gentle massage using essential oils, which are blended in the massage cream, for a relaxing, yet therapeutic experience. Here at Mellow, we'll add Complimentary Essential Oils to any massage!

Need a deeper relaxation? Try adding the scent of lavender to your massage. Looking for a bit of an energizing experience? Try out some Eucalyptus oil. And as always, feel free to ask your Therapist about their favorite mood enhancing scents.

MOBILE Chair Massage (Corporate and Event) - 1hr - $75
Chair massage is ideal for those interested in immediate tension and stress relief. This massage is done fully clothed in a specially designed massage therapy chair in which the client sits face down. Therapists work out the kinks in the back, neck, arms, and head for an amazingly quick fix.

We offer chair massage services by the hour for corporate and church events, as well as parties, gatherings, and even university wellness center and final exam stress relief programs. Just let us know your needs and we'll come to you!
