If you've ever been curious about yoga or have been wanting to begin a practice, this class is for you. Your teacher will guide you through basic poses while explaining the benefits and teaching modifications of each posture. This class is open to All Levels, not just beginners!
We believe that yoga should be accessible to everyone and cost should not be a deterrent. This All Levels class is based on a "pay what you can" sliding scale of $8-15.
Hot Yoga Flow
This class is practiced in a heated room which will allow the building of internal heat, the increase of stamina and flexibility as well as reducing stress. Appropriate for All Levels. Please drink plenty of water the day of practice and don't forget your towel. New class begins June 17th.
A gentle All Levels practice designed to cultivate balance and greater awareness of the breath by introducing the most basic yoga postures. You will leave class with a sense of peace and well-being.
A gentle class to wind down from the Monday blues. This All Levels Yoga class will incorporate deep breathing, emotional alignment, gentle yoga poses and we will end each class with Meditation and deep relaxation. Come and mellow out. New Class begins July 3rd.
Learn to use yoga to connect with your innate wisdom, your body and your growing baby. This class will assist in strengthening the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, keep the spine healthy and increase overall comfort. You will also learn to use breath and meditative practices to reduce stress and prepare for labor and delivery. *This is offered periodically as a class series and will begin on July 1st. Drop-ins are welcome*
Similar to Vinyasa flow, this class is taught at a slower pace and is a nice transition for those are wanting to graduate from their beginner's class. Movements are linked to the breath with an intentional awareness and is appropriate for All Levels.
Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing, dynamic practice which links breath to movement. It involves syncing the breath with a continuous flow of poses which become fluid and dance-like. This challenging and fun practice will allow you to deepen your meditation practice by sharpening your focus and growing greater awareness not just on the mat, but in everyday life. This class is appropriate for All Levels including beginners. Modifications are taught as needed.
An opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life which allows the body and mind to move towards peace and stillness. In this class, a mixture of restorative and yin poses will be taught which are accessible to All Levels. Restorative postures are practiced on the floor with the use of props for support without exerting any effort. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. The blending of these two styles are sure to leave you feeling rejuvenated and relaxed with a sense of zen.
